Congratulations to Avyanna Singh and Nuvee Konara who both earned titles at the prestigious London Junior Chess Championships 28th-30th December 2022. Avyanna won the Leading Southern Counties Under-11 Girl title in the Under-12 Section. Nuvee won the Leading Girl Under 8 title.
The Delancey UK Schools Chess Challenge is one of the biggest competitions in Junior chess. It starts in school chess clubs in the Autumn, and competitors can progress to qualify for regional Megafinals and Gigafinals.
