Another 1st Place for Crowborough Juniors & Friends in Worldwide Junior Team Battle

Crowborough Chess Club juniors, supported by several Sussex Juniors and Worthing Knights players have been competing in a fortnightly online Worldwide Junior tournament.

In a very close battle top scorer Arjun Kolani led the team to first place by the very narrow margin of just 2 points. Mention also to Nayan Keats Rastogi who not content with playing two hours competitive chess for Sussex Under 11 Boys against IM Lorin D’Costa’s “She Plays To Win” team this morning, turned out again this afternoon for Crowborough.

Any Sussex juniors are welcome to join in – apply through Crowborough Chess Club website or contact us and we will put you in touch with David Fryer of Crowborough CC.
