On 28th January Sussex U14 took on a very strong Surrey team in Cheam. Playing with the black pieces in round 1 we managed to score 3 points from the 12 boards. Mid way through the second round it looked like Sussex might just catch up but in the end scored a respectable 5.5 in the second round. We are now looking forward to a home game against Richmond at the end of February.
