Last week Arjun Kolani, U14 British Blitz Chess Champion undertook his first ever simultaneous chess event in East Grinstead High Street.
He played on 8 boards at once with opponents being replaced at the end of their matches. Over £100 was raised for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The event was organised by East Grinstead Bookshop chess club chairman John Pye who presented Arjun with a well deserved ice cream for winning all 20 games!
