20th December – 30 youngsters from 12 schools attended the Uckfield Youth Centre for the local Academy winter championships, with Daniel Longley of Heathfield CC the individual champion with a perfect 6/6, the hosts Uckfield College retaining Top School and a big team from Copthorne Prep winning Top Primary School.
26th October – The 46th Uckfield Academy event was again held at the Uckfield Youth Centre and we had 20 entrants from ten schools for the usual season starter called Pawnstormer. The event was won by Oliver Christian of Uckfield College and the College team convincingly won the Top School trophy again, with a new young team from Rocks Park winning Top Primary School.
