EPSCA Under 9 Zonal (10 Mar 01)
Sussex Junior Chess hosted the EPSCA Under 9 South East Zonal at Oakmeeds Community College, Burgess Hill.
The young Sussex under 9 team could not quite raise their game to qualify for the finals, narrowly missing the target by one point from the relative newcomers to junior team chess, Hertfordshire. Congratulations to them. The overall winners were Richmond by half a point from Essex.
