Sussex Closed U9, U11, U13 and U18 Championships
Sunday 19th November, Downlands School, Hassocks
A very busy day with over 120 contesting the Sussex U9, U11, U13 and U18 titles. Lovely to see so many U8s returning to try out in the older age group after their own championship last month.
As usual the event saw very experienced players rubbing shoulders with players competing for the first time. By and large experience won, but there were some very promising starts from newcomers that will have impressed the Sussex team selectors.
A huge number of volunteers are required to make an event like this happen, so thanks to:
