On 26th & 27th April the EPSCA U11 England trials took place at Liverpool College. The standard was high with about 40 of the strongest players from around England, playing 6 matches across the weekend. The Sussex contingent performed strongly with 3 (Nathaniel Waller, Ben Carter and Ansh Sharma) ultimately being invited to join the England team. As can be seen in the photo, the boys were proud to pick up their white England shirts!
Foreign trips await, but their first match was to represent South East England against Wales on 31st May. Joined by another Sussex player (Eliza Blin), they overcame a tough Wales team 13-7 with good performances all round.
