The 2017-18 season Delancey UK Schools Chess Challenge reached its final stage in Peterborough this weekend.
Of the 400 Sussex players who competed in the Megafinal in May, and the Gigafinal in July, just 4 made it through to take up their place at the Terafinal. With huge prizemoney at stake the competition was fierce. No prizewinners this time but some good perfrmances:
U8 – Amelie Rees – 3½/6
U10 – Abhi Jadav – 3½/6
U12 – Solomon Mitchell – 3/6
U18 – Cassie Graham – 2/6
