Six counties took part in this strong event. With some of the teams putting out an extremely strong lineup the young Sussex team performed creditably in coming 5th with 4 points. Notable performances were from Tom Davey and Grant Bucher with well earned draws against higher graded opponents.
Kent won the competition with 9½ out of 12, Essex 8½, Herts 6½, Surrey 5, Sussex 4, and Berkshire 2½
