Two pupils from Hellingly school took the honours at the Sussex (closed) under 7 championships.In the final match between Sebastian Stracey and Christopher Linnett, Christopher always seemed in control until Sebastian overturned the form book with an incisive attack. The school trophy was picked up by St. Lawrence, Hurstpierpoint, with Hellingly a close second. The hosts, Fonthill Lodge were third.
